There is a security deposit per unit of:

• Class C $1000
• Travel Trailer $1000
• Class A $1,500

(This will be refunded within 7 business days if there are no damages, additional mileage or days, cleaning, or damage to the unit.)

When you rent from Family RV, you get an RV specialist who will help you:

Family RV is ready to serve you in every way we can.

You may leave your vehicle at on Family RV's lot normally for a charge of $10 per day. Exceptions do apply, please ask the manager for more details. We will need your key s, we will mark your name, make and color of the car on the tag attached to your keys. We will ask you to lock your car and place the keys on the key rack. We do reserve the right to move your vehicle for safe and smooth operation of the Dealership.

We are not responsible for any damage, theft or any other loss relating to your car that is left with us.

Early and late arrivals and departures can be arranged in advance. Please talk to a manager so we may try to accommodate you.

Pick up time is normally between 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm on the day of departure.

Renter should be at Family RV no later than 4 pm to pick up their rental vehicle to provide adequate time to understand the operations and do a complete walk around the vehicle. The check-out process can take up to 1½ hours each - please allow yourself enough time. Early pick up times may be pre-arranged if rental vehicle is available the day of pick up or before.

Return time is normally between 9:00 am - 11:00 am on the day of return.

The RV should be returned clean inside and out and full of fuel upon return. If the RV is not returned clean inside and out and full of fuel, a cleaning fee will be charged, and the fuel will be refilled, and an administration fee will be applied depending on time to complete the extra service. The check in process can take up to 1½ hours if the rental vehicle is returned with damage or dirty and sometimes longer!! If the rental vehicle is returned late there may be a late fee of $75.00 per hour for every 1-hour period after 11 am.

Kitchen kits and bedding/towel kits are available. Please contact your Rental Agent for availability. Items contained in each kit are thoroughly cleaned after each use.

Kitchen kits have cooking and eating ware for up to 2 people and include, 2 dish towels, 1 sauce pan, 2 frying pans, 2 glasses, 2 cereal bowls, 2 dinner plates, 1 Spatula, 1 mixing bowl, silverware set (2 forks, 2 spoons, 2 knives), and 2 coffee cups.

Bedding/towel kits and include 1 blanket, 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, 1 pillow, 2 pillow cases, 2 towels, and 2 wash cloths.

Yes, with advance of booking notification we will arrange transportation from San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK), or San Jose (SJC) inquire with rental agent or manager when booking your rental.

Rental insurance is important when you are renting an RV or Trailer, to ensure that you and your family have a fun and safe trip we want to make sure that the RV you are renting is insured before you leave our facility.

Obtaining a certificate of insurance from your auto insurance carrier is the most difficult part of the rental process since many insurance agents are not familiar with the form needed.

When reserving an RV, you are required to contact your auto insurance carrier to obtain an Insurance Binder/Certificate of Insurance/Endorsement form from your auto insurance provider. You will need to let your insurance agent know that you are renting an RV and that they need to fax Family RV the form that shows your coverage's, deductibles, policy number, the RV's year, make, and VIN number listed as the insured vehicle, and Family RV as an "additionally insured" or "loss payee".

Trailer Towing Requirements:

To tow ANY travel trailer from Family RV, the following is required:

• Electric brake controller
• Applies braking to the trailer when the tow vehicle brakes are applied.
• A properly mounted Ball Mount & 2-5/16 or 2 inch ball.
  • Most of our travel trailers require a 2 5/16 ball, some have 2 inch ball, please ask ahead of time.
  • The height of the ball will vary depending on the trailer.

• Weight distribution hitch.
• Sway Control if trailer is compatible.
